The NORSAR Fibre array (NORFOX) is located east of Hamar, in South-East Norway. It is colocated with the NORES seismometer array. The geometry of the system is optimized for array processing of regional seismic signals. See Näsholm et al (2022) https://doi.org/10.1029/2021JB023587 for more information. 5 curved arms go out from a central location, the array has a diameter of 3000m, and each arm is approximately 1750m long. Deviations from the ideal curved line are due to topography and geology. The construction of the site is not finished in February 2023, and we will provide data only of ARMS A, B, and C Each arm is instrumented with 2 cables: Cable 1 has 4 standard Telecom G.652D fibres, Cable 2 has two G.652D fibres, plus two backscatter "enhanced" fibres (manufactured by OFS). The fibres are spliced together at the outermost postiion of each arm such that the light travels out on an enhanced and back on a standard fibre. We here provide the channels from the enhanced fibres. Tap tests were performed along the cable to calibrate the locations. We connect a ASN OptoDAS_V1 For more information contact Andreas.Wuestefeld@norsar.no
