Dr Kjølv Egeland from NORSAR gave a presentation during the OSCE's ‘Structured Dialogue’ on 21 October.

On 21 October, Dr Kjølv Egeland of NORSAR gave a presentation on conflict monitoring and new innovations in verification to dozens of ambassadors and military advisors in the format of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s “Structured Dialogue”.

The Structured Dialogue, which is currently managed by the Norwegian delegation to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), offers a standing, informal working group to discuss security challenges in the OSCE area. The aim of the dialogue is to foster mutual understanding and a common basis for a way forward for security in Europe.

NORSAR’s Jon Magnus Christensen was also present for the dialogue and took part in a number of small-group meetings with OSCE stakeholders. NORSAR will be back in Vienna in December for a follow-up meeting on arms control and verification.
