In the light of renewed importance of NORSAR's core capabilities in arms control monitoring and a challenging geopolitical context, we recently announced certain changes to our organization. 

- We have a number of solutions in NORSAR that are many relevant to the task of making the world more secure and society more robust. That is why we have updated our organization - to become more targeted and clearer about how we want to contribute to both international arms control, national security and commercial, civilian uses of our world leading detection seismology capabilities.  With this in mind, we have established a new team 100% focused on research and services for “Security and Resilience”, headed up by NORSAR Deputy CEO Arve Mjelva. Our new “Geoscience Technologies” team will continue to deliver advanced detection seismology solutions and services to commercial and public sector customers under the leadearship of Tina Kaschewich, says NORSAR CEO Birger Steen.

 He continues: - We all live in a security landscape that is changing rapidly, with increasing geopolitical uncertainty, more frequent and more serious kinetic, cyber and hybrid threats, and growing demands for resilient critical infrastructure. By establishing "Security and Resilience" as a dedicated business area while strengthening our focus on Geoscience Technologies, we are making it easier for customers and partners to engage with NORSAR and access our world-leading expertise, on both customary open research and commercial terms but also, when necessary, in a classified environment.
